Dominique Piron

The Pirons have a long tradition of winemaking that spans fourteen generations with their oldest known ancestor dating back to 1590 AD. This is clearly a family that has studied the craft of making wine over the past four centuries. After a long history of dedicated winemakers, the Piron estate is now being handled by a negociant named Julien Revillon who farms and buys grapes from trusted growers. He places an emphasis on high quality, historic wines.

The wines coming from the Piron estate combine sustainable farming practices with a process the pros know as semi-carbonic maceration. Because of the techniques used, the wines they make tend to be fruit-forward and low in tannins. They are timeless, traditional, and uniquely, can be enjoyed right away or can be kept for several years. Their wines benefit from tradition, location, and dedication.
